Agree as posted... 3/8" fuel and 3/16" brake lines as original.
The 3/8" line would not hold the +/- 1000 PSI of the brake system.
SS brake lines are a "bear" to flare and seal. It takes a high end flaring tool to make the double flare and even then they can be hard to seal because the ss is so hard the fittings don't seat as well. A standard "better" quality parts store flaring kit won't do it.
If you want ss brake lines I'd suggest a pre-made set from Inline tube. Cost is pretty reasonable, fuel lines also.
Personally, I stick with steel. Its easier to work with, lower cost and original lasted >30 years in my case.
