This I am not sure of. where are you located I just stripped a rust free 85 and kept every piece of the fuel system as well as the whole brake line system. lol
I have been intending to see if the air brake lines can't be used as fuel lines on our rigs.
I know that summit sales aluminum fuel line by the roll. You have to do your own connections. Also lmc truck sells complete fuel and brake line kits for our trucks but they are kinda pricey.
The nylon air brake lines are used for the fuel lines an all reefers and comes in 5/16 and 3/8 too. Im thinking our fittings will work with it and it is like 50 cents a foot or less.

Yea I figgured you were back east if you had brake line trouble.
I have bought brake line in 25 foot rolls and with a bender and double flaring tool built new ones.
For brake lines once you have a double flaring tool it is fairly easy to make them from a roll of new line. All the steel lines on my dually were replaced about 3-4 years ago, and I think I did all the rubber hoses then too. For fuel line, I've been fortunate on the diesel so far, never had to touch them. My F150 gasser was a single tank, so when it started to leak it got switched to rubber, but with it the fuel pump was in the tank, so didn't have to worry about hoses collapsing or anything. Not sure if it would be a good idea in the diesels, but it would likely work.
