Owners of Insite CTS thoughts.
I have A CTS and am trying to understand this. Going to truck wash I notice dpf soot count is 2.38 fine shortly I notice soot count is going down, naturally I thought in regen but no R is light up. So I continue driving it keeps going lower down to 1.65 but EGT1 is 420 and EGT 4 is 150. and fuel economy is going up not down. So not in regen. Wash truck and start back to house and it still is dropping soot level, then POP hear is engine light just came on. So to the house remove CTS and off to dealer. They called today and said it needs NOX sensor. Had to order be here next Tuesday. I am trying my best to understand these readings on CTS, how they make sense with a NOX sensor failure. Thanks Paul

I guess with a sensor failure, it can start feeding incorrect data to the computer which is what I gather from your event.
The computer is watching and sees something isn't quite correct and therefore pops the CEL.
That's just my guess. These trucks are anything but dumb.
At this point, you don't know for fact the NOx sensor is your actual issue until you get it back and put some miles on it.

In my opinion that is the beauty of a pod like the insight. I had one on my 6.4 and I learned an awful lot from it. So much that I really felt it was worth the investment. I would love to own one now but parting with the money has been an issue this year.
Sure would be nice if ford would show all that info on the nice LCD info screen....
