while i've got you on the phone.
his truck transmission cooler is still hooked up correctly.
mine they butchered it to run lines up to later radiator bottom tank transmission cooler too.
what's the other steel line on same side as truck cooler
that on his is in 'from the factory condition' and it
heads back and then up at slight angle?
looks like from there it had rubber piece of hose on end
and then maybe another steel line going somewhere.

Fordification's info is from the 1964/72 Ford Truck Parts Catalog / Text-Section A70 / Pages 2 & 3.
See post #2 for the other truck parts catalog info.
Both these catalogs are available on CD's from hipoparts.com.

It's 3:30 AM here in LA LA Land, so there's no way I'd be talking on the phone, except maybe to "Squire" Don.
You're not talking to me, because you don't have my phone number! I don't have your number either.

your chart in post #2 doesn't work as a link.
i think that's what the hold up is.
regarding the steel line.
let's go with this:
the truck transmission cooler uses the two lower fittings.
coming out of the top fitting up front
is my mystery steel line.
what is it?

those are sayings or expressions.
all us heavy hitters in la use them.
