Short answer is the SD spider off a 99.5 to 03 will not work with an obs. Not even close to lining up. No easy way to cut it clear with out alot more work then making you own Y pipe.

If you have a complete 2000 7.3, then swap over the driver side exhaust manifold, up-pipes, turbo, and intake runners along with the intercooler and you will be better off.

The Super Duty turbo mount and up-pipes will give you a lot more turbo options.

Get 2. 3 inch 90* bend exhaust pipes. Cut one to go between the plenums and the other to come up to the ic pipe. And the should be enough left over pieces to weld to the flange off your stock y pipe.

Imagine a turbo being behind that. Use the 3 inch pipe and the plenums. Then if you cut the flange on the inlet into the factory in the right spot it will weld almost exactly on the 3 inch pipe. Come to think of it a 45 may give you better clearance on the pipe coming into the lower pipe.

I'm glad your thinking it thru Jason. I put on 3" intakes only to find out what your running into. Got lucky and sold them and my intakes needed resealed anyway.

I'd figure less turbulence from small to big. Rather then going back to small again.
