The stock amperage is 110amp witch i read some were these motors use about 90% just to run the motor and whats left runs your accessories like radio lights ect...

New update ive been finding coolant in the snow hear and there nothing consistant but apon removing the belt and having the truck under shop lights i see my nice red coolant puddling on top of the water pump i wiped it all down to see if it comes back but what do you guys think bad water pump?
Thanks again jordan

You should upgrade your wiring connections from the high-amp alternators. When i installed mine, I ran a new 00 hot wire to my driver side battery and installed an inline 200amp fuse as well.

Whoever wrote what you read doesn't know much about these electrical systems.

I'm pointing it out so this misinformation isn't perpetuated.

A problem with those alternators is that they reportedly have starter windings instead of stator windings.
