How to spot correct wheels
Hello again,
Hope you don't get tired of the endless questions! Anyway, I have been going to the auto salvage and I don't know how to spot the steel wheels that will fit over the trucks with disc brakes. The wheels I need are the original plain Jane wheels that came on the 78 F100's and F 150's They all look alike to me!
Thanks, Joel

Interchangeable 5 lug, 5.50" bolt circle steel wheels used w/discs:
1973/79 F100 2WD & 1976/77 F100 4WD / 1975 F150 2WD & 1976/96 F150 2WD/4WD / 1975/2012 E150 / 1976/96 Bronco.
Some 1980/83 F100 2WD (4WD not available) / Some 1980/83 F100's have 5 lug 4.50" bolt circle wheels 2WD only.
Styled steel & Aluminum wheels introduced in 1977, for F100/150's & E150's. Same applications apply as the steel wheels, except Bronco didn't get them until 1978.
