Hi, Are you going to sell the wheels that are on your truck now? If so what size are they? I am looking for 16" steel rims. Is this the size of Ur wheels?
Thank you, cheers, Pete
Anyone know where to find wheels for my 62 stepside. About to restore or rat rod her
Welcome to FTE
Most 1962 F100's came with 15" wheels, but 16" and 17.5" wheels were optional. All these wheels have 5 lugs on a 5.50" bolt circle.
What hubcaps (if any) are you planning to use?
1955/64, some 1965/66 F100's came with 'innie' wheels, so called because the hubcap snaps over tabs located on the inside of the wheels center section.
If you don't care about hubcaps, any of the following wheels will fit: 1967/79 F100 / 1967/96 Bronco / 1975/96 F150 / 1975/2013 E150 / Some 1980/83 F100.
I may end up using the factory ford center hubcap. Just would like to re chrome, and rep ain't the ford red. Thanks for your reply. About to start this project. Owned since 2007 and just now getting to it
If you want to avoid shipping costs, try auto swap meets or visit older wrecking yards. The same wheel was used from the mid 50's to mid 60's . 1940's vintage wheels look similar, but are too narrow, the 5 1/2" wheel is correct. Correct style stainless hubcaps are now reproduced, much cheaper than the cost of chroming originals.
