After using the 4wd it's not going back into 2wd,the 4wd lo light is on and I dont hear the "click" when turning the switch. I've had the truck several years so I know how the 4wd works,is there a fuse or something else to try?

 

The electric shift motor has run of the rail (small rubber bumper perished)..

Remove the shift motor and move the gear selector (in T/C) to 2WD...

Repair or replace shift motor, you may drive with it removed, just stay out of dirt and mud........Philip

 

for short term, I have had luck going in a prking lot and doing tight circles until it pops out.

 

Quick and easy way to wind up the drive train and break something expensive... Philip

 

slow turns has worked for me every time. Are you not supposed to make turns when its in 4wd?
