wiper motor or relay?
hi back again with another question....92 f150, where is the wiper motor relay located? my wipers work when they want to....and usually go out at the worst times...sometimes hitting a pothole will make them work again and sometimes not. i know when there not working and if i turn them on my alt. gauge drops plenty so its getting power to somewhere. any imput would be awsome thanks

Yeah, if the voltage drops, but the wipers don't work, that indicates a wiring short to ground, or a bad motor. Most likely the wiper motor. A wiring short to ground would have to be high enough resistance to not blow the fuse, but low enough resistance to pull the voltage down. If it's not the motor, I'd start with the multi-function switch...

wiper motor issue
Bought this 89 f250, wipers worked when turned on but got sluggish. So i swapped out old 2 plug for a newer 96 1 plug. Have just abt got wiring figured out, but now im wondering if the switch could be bad and how do i test it? Also does anybody know which fuse is linked to wiper motor?
Appreciate any all replies/feedback
