Lower front fender extensions

I just bought these fender extensions off ebay really decent! The problem is they are different from the ones i have. They said 51-52,i thought they were the same.Mine are kind of square by the wheel well, these kinda come to a point when they meet the wheel well.I looked all over at different pics and they all look like mine,,anyway did they make different ones for 51 and for 52..needless to say these are not going to work.to bad cuz i thought i scored, should have paid more attention!

Are you talking about the lower fender or the lower section of the upper fenders where they meet at the running boards?

The lower section of the upper fenders (at the running board) remained the same design from 48-52. The front of the fenders and the lower fenders themselves differed between 48-50 and 51-52 design group years.

You're likely talking about the patch panel that goes on the upper (main) fender at the running board.

You can email me the pictures at modelking2000 at hotmail dot com.

Its the front section of the fender that connects to the lower valance, not the rear of the the front section that connects to the running board

Just trying to get the terminology down...

The fender is made of two parts, an upper fender (the larger main piece) and the lower fender (smaller piece). The two bolt together to complete the assembly and the upper fender bolts to the running board, while the lower fender bolts to the lower valance.

EDIT: Received the picture and in process of uploading.

And, you have to make sure your pictures are not too big. It won't tell you that they are too big, it just says that there is a problem. Check the size against the size limit listed. It took me months to figure it out...

Here's the picture. The original fender on the left is from a 51-52 F2-F6 truck. The reproduction/replacement fender on the right is from a 51-52 F1. The difference is in the wheel opening. F2-F6 fenders had a larger wheel opening to accomodate for larger wheels/tires. No one to my knowledge reproduces F2-F6 fenders or patch panels.

The fenders i need are the 51 52 F1.. not the F6 ones. The ones i bought off ebay are the rusty color one F2 F6,the other one is fiberglass from Bebops, but when i saw the metal ones i figured i get them instead, but as you all can see they are the wrong ones ,so im back to square one. I really wanted the steel but i guess ill have keep looking or use the fiberglass..ohwell
