If you are talking about thte ICP being covered in oil after unplugging for a minute no. If you removed it or loosened it I would say so. Not just unplugging.

Chet

I unplugged the electrical connection on top of the ICP. So only the black plastic piece. It was practically full of oil. I did not unbolt the sensor.

There is your problem, bad icp. The oil in the plug is causin faulty readings! There is a new style that you will get and it seems to be holding up better. And it's easier to r&r!

Lol, I had a significantly large amount of fun since I posted last.

So it was my ICP, then I was at the post office and it wouldn't start, Clay and I isolated it to the IPR.

So I replaced ICP and IPR, and it ran great for a week.

I put stage 1 injectors in the week after, along with new cups.
After all of that work I went to fire the truck over, and the Ring inside of the Fitting of the HPOP blew out, the line shot off, sheered the ICP in half, including the metal of the sensor, and bent the Brand new oil line... Needless to say, I was discouraged, but glad it did not happen on the highway.

Clay at Riff Raff and Bob at Diesel O rings were very responsive, and I was able to get a new ICP, HPOP Line, and Fitting the day after the holidays.

To do the fitting, you have to drain the HPOP, and Pull the IPR out, then pull the Fitting off, Clean the threads, loctite it, and let it cure for 24 hours.

It's all put together, and happily running!!!!! I believe Joey at terminator is now putting brand new fittings on all pumps, so hopefully no one else gets to enjoy such shenannigans.

I should point out that I am not bad mouthing anything. Stuff happens, Working with Clay, Bob, Jody at Dp Tuner (Upgraded to F6 also) and Joey has been an excellent experience, and I highly recommend them as Vendors, and highly recommend the upgrades they sell!!!

PERMAGRIN!!!

Lloydable, now that you got it down come and do mine. I'm glad it all worked out. You were dealing with some top people in the business. I have one of Joey's early pumps and have had zero problems.I buy from these guys all the time and I to recommend them highly myself. God bless,
Chet
