The Ford Ignition Module is referred to as Ignition Control Module (ICM) or Thick Film Ignition module (TFI). They come in two flavors, Push Start (gray in color) or Computer Controlled Dwell (CCD). All trucks starting in 1994 have black (CCD) style Ignition Control Modules.

As I noted before, many part manuals (including Ford) are wrong. Trust me, we go through this chinese fire drill every week here.....

Some good reading here: http://www.myo-p.com/Ford-EEC/EEC%20..._or_black.html
