Heater hose is fine, its what most use. You can vent it into the exhaust, but its gotta be done right. It has to be at a 45* angle into the exhaust. Mine's just vented into the atmosphere.

Thanks for the response that answered my question.

I dont understand why people take the time venting it into the exhaust. Does International?

Nope.......

Probably to reduce the smell of the ccv.

Am I tripping because I have only put 20 miles on my truck and I've done minimal idling, but I havent smelt anything

No, you're not. Depends where it exits, if its got much blow by, which way the winds blowing (you haven't driven much), etc. It's noticed more after a good hard workout on mine.

Sweet good to know.
Its exiting right out of the dog house right now. Thats why I assumed I would be smelling it. Im gonna try going quail hunting this weekend put some miles on the truck.

I use a catch can that has a wire screen in it. The vent then goes back up to the original spot in the intake.

Knock on wood, no problems

Got the catch can from tractor supply. it was in their fertilizer pump section
