1994 new clutch slips when warm
desperately need help here; had the clutch replaced on my 1994 F250 4X4. I purchased the lifetime warranty clutch KIT from Murrays/ OReillys and decided to have a professional mechanic do the work. Bought a new master, slave & tubing also, had the shop do it all. Clutch started slipping not too long afterwards. I don't tow ANYTHING, drive it like an old lady. It ONLY HAPPENS WHEN WARM. Just went on a 800 mile round trip through PA mountains. Absolutely NO slipping on the way there, on the way back when temps were in the 60's slipped in 5th doing 70+ when I would push it going uphill. Before I left I had the same shop flush the fluid & put in DOT 4, the guy told me it had better temp qualities. I thought that maybe there was some water in the fluids & the flush fixed the problem but the return trip showed me otherwise.
Searched the net for a similar problem but found zilch.
Also the clutch pedal seems REALLY high up. It just seems like the clutch is partially engaged when it warms up.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
thanks in advance

pressure plate
would temps affect it like that? The mechanic that did the work told me he had experience w/ springs going bad but I have a lot of machine rebuilding experience and I know this; when springs go bad they go bad, they do NOT get spring or tension back once they have lost their temper. But then again I have ZERO experience w/ auto clutches. How could my clutch work perfectly when cold then start slipping when heated up then work perfectly again the next day?
