which auto tranny will fit?

which auto tranny will fit?

hello everyone, pretty new to this so be gentle... i have a inline six (240) and it has a 3 speed trans that someone moved to the floor... which auto tranny will bolt right up without much hassle? also will i need to run lines or anything? any advice would help

Any auto with the sb bell housing will fit. I would think the c4 or c6 would be the easiest, and the c6 being the strongest of the two. With those you only need a vacuum line and the neutral safety switch. Of course I would hit the j/y and get the right cross member, mount, and drive shaft too. Along with that you'll need a steering column for an auto, with the shifting arms.

You will also need to add a trans cooler. Either one inside the radiator (most replacements already have it) or one that mounts in front of the rad. Without the cooler, the trans will burn up in a very short time.
