yea i work mine all the time. its my daily driver and only truck so I dont get alot of choice. haul my bike in it quite a bit, lots of plywood and 2x4s, fridge and a washer drier once, and even hooked onto a trailer a time or 2 before I moved the tank to the back and had to remove the hitch

I've yet to finish it, but I'm 4th down and inches... (waiting on the DMV for the temp plate mess - registering old 1948 plates), but mine is my only truck. I live in a big city (Denver), but anything and everything I need a truck for, it is my go to girl (my only girl).
I'm insuring it as a daily driver - that and my convertible are my only 2 sets of wheels... I will use it all the time here in the near future.

So far I've only managed to haul 2 loads of mulch, some commercial shelving, and a storage locker for the garage. It's almost time for some more mulch though.

I'm glad I don't have a wood bed, cause I'd be afraid to mess it up.

My old minivan is on it's last leg and i won't be putting another tranny in it so the 54 will be doing some work when it gets on the road. Last weekend I told my wife that I aught to put a dump bed on it but will probably get a 2 inch receiver instead and I'll pull a trailer for hauling dirt. I've toyed with the idea of using it to pull my 24 ft camper trailer but the rear springs would have to be put back closer to OEM to do that. hmmm

I use my 53 for mulch, and lumber. My 57f600 is my parts hauler. EARL/my f250 1956 was used last weekend for hauling some lumber. I use most of my trucks, but the 71 gets all the cushy jobs.....LOL/it has p.s. and p.b.......and that comes in handy!

I helped friends move, hauled appliances and furniture, pulled my flatbed utility trailer, cruised it easy over to cruise night, beat tar out of it at the drag strip, etc.
I don't use it for a daily driver because I have a cushy job that provides me a truck and fuel.

I would rather use + enjoy mine. I don't mind spending $3k to repaint it in 10 yrs, compared to just looking at it in the garage, or hanging out in parking lots. If it was all original, and matching numbers it MIGHT get some slack

mine is original most of the numbers are worn away..an I think it has a $30 dollar paint job..an' it won't fit in the garage..to much crap in there ..
