couple of exhaust question and smoke problem.
ok lets start with the smoke problem... it doesnt do it every time that i can tell but when i start up my truck a puff of smoke blows out. whit not black. and it hardly has a smell to it.
second, the exhaust. i want it to be louder and i already have flowmasters and dual tiips. how much louder would it make it to remove 2 of the four cats or should i just go with removing all of them.

For the cheep way,or should I say inexpensive way. Start buy cutting out 2 cats and see how you like it. Should sound good like that with the flowmasters.
The smoke could be a stuck or leaky valve letting a little oil build up wile sitting.
Or could be a slow head-gasket leak, letting a little coolant into the cylinder and it burns off on start up.
I have heard some good things about this cleaner called Auto-RX. It might unstick a valve, but don't bother using any other oil additives. They do nothing!
