I haven't seen any in a class 3. But since the Escape can only tow 3500 are you sure you need the class 3? Or is it that you need the 2" receiver (only on class 3) and square tubing?

I am looking to use the 2" receiver to mt a cycle carrier, max weight of 300lbs. I need to weld an additional mopunting point to the hitch to counter the tendency of a single point mt to want to wobble around. I can probably do it with the round tubing everyone uses, but much simpler with the square tubing.

I figured it was for something like that.
What I would do, if you can't find a square (which looks bleak) is instead of welding, drill a hole all the way through and use a bolt with a washer front/back and a nylon nut to hold the support member in place. Don't forget to touch up the paint after drilling to keep the rust away.

Good luck.
