hey whats up fellow 'eers? tranny dropped out of the truck. need a used e4od for the truck. i just need as cheap of one as i can get since i am gonna do the zf5 swap later. but its been bow season for awhile now and i am getting sick of taking the wifes explorer. help me out. i am willing to drive a few hours to pick it up
Depends on how cheap you're talking, but give Pick Up City a call. They're really reasonable on used parts like that. They're in Fairmont so you'll have a little bit of a drive.
yeah i forgot about pick up city i have called most of the yards even called rt250 who has over 200 yards across the united states and they didnt have a used one. i will try them though worth a shot. fairmont is only 1.5 hrs from me. i used to work claims in wv so i know alot of yards i really got sick of calling was trying to find one from an individual but worth a shot.
When I posted that I was looking at an F-350 for parts and it was an auto trans. However, a deal couldn't be made. I'm guessing the engine block was lined in gold and studded with diamonds and rubies lol.
Oh well.
