I went to the junkyard yesterday and made the stupidest mistake ever, not measuring the length of my trans to make sure it fits. I need an e4od and I pulled a c6. It was in the same year same engine same truck so I dont know what happend there. Does anyone have an E4OD laying around that I could possibly buy off them or trade off them? I cant pay much for anything but I could pay overtime.
Please help I need this today or tomorrow because I need the truck for this weekend. I live near Allentown PA but could drive up to 2 hours each way to meet someone.
what year is urtruck c6 was fased out around 88 y not just use the c6 the e40d to my is not worth the the price of scrap metal where all ways seeing help my e40d took a **** on me

I couldnt agree more with you but I only have a limited amount of money for the swap. Its a 94 and I cant afford to buy a new crossmember and driveshafts as well as anything else needed for it. I absolutely hate the E4OD and Im swapping in a t19 or t18 asap but I cant find one with the bellhousing I need.
All I know is the previous *******... I mean owner... Towed a 5th wheel on 35" MTR's and killed the trans. I now have R N D 1 and 2 as Neutral gears with or without fluid.
What codes? It said f*** you I quit and spit all the fluid all over the road about 10 times. Now when I pour fluid in it just spits it out as fast if not faster than I can pour it.
Its not just a seal jobber either The trans would slip like crazy if I didnt have a quart of bars stop leak in it.
If you can travel there are parts from a 1994 4 wheel drive and he is parting it out. He wants $400.for a EOD trannismission. It is in Craigs list look up Georgia, Macon/warner robins and Auto parts. I posted earlier on this forum about parts for a 94. I think I had the turbo listed.
u might try seeling ur jeep to get the money to fix it
That would defeat the purpose of me having a fullsize truck in the first place. Jeep is a religion almost and once your in and fully involved you cannot leave unless you have no other options.
Just kidding about that.
I couldnt sell the jeep if I wanted to it is almost a part of me with all the blood sweat and skin/muscle I have lost on it. I take it you have never owned a jeep or if you have you havent lived in a northeastern area where you physically cannot fit a truck on the trails I go through with the jeep. Down in florida I wanted a truck for the mud but I need this jeep for the rocks.
Oh and I cant exactly get all the way down to georgia as of now but thanks anyway. A member on here offered to sell me a t19 with bellhousing and clutch so that solves all my problems in one step.
i have a 08 wrangeler on 35s yea there fun but u can allways get another one ur still young lol or just wheel ur truck thats what i do these truck wheel quiet whell but selling ur jeep would be wost cause seanearo
Not a problem. If anybody was interested, I would be able to pick up what they wanted to buy and keep it in storage for while. I'm only about 30/35 miles from where the person is located. I"ve already emailed the guy asking him a few questions.
