I didn't notice mine until a few months after I took it home. It's not consistent or loud enough to bring it in and have them test drive it and try to fix it.

Anyone have any updates? I'm thinking about taking mine in, anything above 40 and the wind noise is terrible. Never had this problem with my 02 F150 but my 11 is driving me crazy.

Yep, wind noise on mine too. To upper corner of A pillar drivers side. All three of my Ford trucks do the same thing. It's just a Ford thing; they have not yet figured out how to make excellent weather stripping.

The wind noise on mine became more pronounced when I added the vent shades over the windows.

And I thought mine was unusual. 2012 with 1400 miles on it. The noise started at about 800 miles. Ventvisors have been on for about 100 miles and made no difference. Does anybody have a fix to report?

The dealer initially could not find/replicate the problem on my truck. I noticed that it seemed to get louder with the a/c on. The dealer ultimately did find the source of the noise: the seal/gasket in the door panel where air is vented to the window for defrost. After that, I had a couple of weird creaks and rattles, but they seem to have all gone away on their own.

I think that because the truck's interior is otherwise so quiet, every irregular noise or rattle stands out.

Whistling noise around drivers door.

I've got a 2010 F-350 that has the whistling noise at speeds above 55. I have not been able to create or stop it by turning on or off the AC or by changing the vents to defrst. It's been into the dealer three times so far, they are 0 for 3 at finding or fixing the problem. The problem first occurred at about 40K and is getting increasing worse after 60K.

Strange, I was at a dealer today looking at new F150s and the salesman mentioned his F250 has a bad wind noise! His is '06 I think he said. Wow, Ford - please learn how to make windshield seals, door seals, etc.!! I had to pay $140 last week to have my '02 windshield removed and resealed because Ford didn't do it right at Kansas City plant! Leaked causing GEM to have problems making fan not work, etc. etc.

has anyone had this problem resolved? I was told at the stealership this was normal. I know and they know that wind noise on a brand new truck is not normal. Ford refusing to fix another common problem. If this keeps up the next vehicles my wife and I own will not have an oval in them.

had this problem during 1st year, but then took a stone in the windshield, it cracked and after insurance replacement (at non-Ford glass joint) all noise went away.

So find (or make ;-) ) a reason to change your windshield and have someone do a proper seal job?

Mine sounds like its coming from the bottom of the door. Very noticeable when the roads are wet.

Send me your information in a PM, 69satelite; I want to look into this and see how I can best assist. I'll need your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, mileage, and preferred servicing dealership to get things moving in the right direction.

Thanks!

Crystal

Mine still hasn't been resolved. I've got a fog machine and have been planning to fill the interior and see if I can find a leak. Just haven't had the time. Maybe I can find some this weekend and give it a shot. I'll let you know what I find.

my 2011 was horrible. Even after having the windshield replaced from a large crack with a factory one, the noise was still there. Extreme cold it was horrible, wind noise was just unbeareable at times.

The 2014 I have now is better, but if i have a head wind its annoying. The drivers side lower bottom has a sound screen printed on the windshield. Anyone know what was changed?
