OBS wind noise from doors.

The other day my brother accidentally leaned against the passenger door when it was open forcing it past its normal range of motion it started catching on the quarter panel but a good tug fixed that now the problem is there is a ton a wind noise, now my truck had wind noise before and the doors rattle but now its obvious that theres more noise coming for the passenger side.

The other problem is theres a screeching/pinging noise coming from the door when I hit bumps, I figure replacing the sheath on the Striker will solve this.

My brother is a pretty big guy so I'm worried the door or hinges are bent or warped.
anyone have experience with this?

I can't really use PeelnStick weather stripping because come summer it'll just fall off, I read that feeding some foam bead strips through the current striping and help thicken it up.
any ideas?

I fixed it for now by wrapping the striker in electrical tape and putting peel and stick and securing it with electrical tape as well no pinging, and whistling is mostly gone unless I'm doing over 70.

I would replace the striker or the bushing since they are easy to change and readily available. Also then check the hinge pins for wear by trying to lift the door while it is open and see if it moves. Then of course check all the weather stripping for its condition. If it is bad replacements are available.

Bushing on the striker is crap if you buy from a big box store. There's a better one on eBay. Strikers are adjustable.

Hinge bushings get loose and let the door sag. Big box sells junk bushings but the pins aren't bad. Hinges are adjustable in all three dimensions. You can move the doors every which way.

The door detents are available to hold them open. All the door gaskets and window gaskets and strips are available.

Old trucks are noisy. Get to it when you get to it.

I just replaced both strikers with bushings on my truck from napa for a touch less than $20. Worth every cent!

When you pull your old ones there is a bunch of slop in the lug it threads into, its supposed to be like that for the adjustment. I closed my door and readjusted how the striker sat a few times until the door was flush with the cab.
