bronco magnum

Saw a bronco magnum this weekend and it blew my mind... I never knew that ford made a 4 door bronco!!!! I thought it was a cc srw f250 or f350 with a topper at first glance but it was a bronco magnum!

Anyone got details on these? Are they specialty trucks like the "Centaurus and Centurion" models? How many years did ford make them?

Did they just use a f250 super cab chassis to build these, or a ccsb??? here is a pic of one I found on the net...

yeah all the info i've found says "Magnum Coach Co." made them but went out of business in the late 80's... but they were based out of colo huh??? the one I found near me was pretty rusty or I might have asked if he wanted to sell it.... They look pretty much like the big Chevy suburbans of the 80's and 90's... and who wants a cheby... ick!

deal with replacing rusting parts and buy a one off bronco. That'd be sweet all done up

well it's not "For Sale" but I could always ask. I am wondering what's under the hood, and what axles it has... I have a rebuilt 351w looking for a new home and a big bronco with 1ton axles would be sweet! The only thing I wouldn't like is having to custom make a lot of sheet metal to fix it... There aren't preformed panels for this truck so lots of custom work would have to be done... I'm not even sure the owner will even sell it. i was just curious if these "magnums" were more common that i thought... Looks like they are pretty custom work.
