6.2L Startup "Grumble"

Hi all,

I have a 2011 Platinum with 7500 miles on the clock...6.2L. When I start the engine and am standing outside to hear whats up, the tone of the engine changes a few times (switching components pumps etc on I suppose). There is one point about 3-4 seconds after the engine has started and has been running that sounds like a deep rumble...like something major is happening and the engine is working to get this process started. Almost sounds like a very cold oil pump working, but its not cold enough for that. Few seconds later everythign planes off nicely and settles into a smooth idle.

Does this sound bizarre? Am I overanalyzing this?

Everything has been absolutely stellar with this rig, this is my only questions so far.

Thanks for your replys!

I have the same thing. It runs a little rough for about 20 seconds then smooths out after that. Purrs like a kitten at idle and roars like a lion when you step on it.

Maybe it adjusts the timing/fuel to the current conditions?
