my F.I. 4.9 idles relly rough when i first start it up and fluxuates any where from 1500 down to 500 rpm until it finaly dies. it normaly runs ok once its warmed up but sometimes after i shut it off it does it again. i know most of the obvious parts have been changed. has anyone ever ran into this problem or have any ides.
it is a 89 and i dont think its fuel presser because as soon as it gets warmed up it seems to be fine but then again the reason im asking is cause i dont know. any easy way to check that?
Clean the idle air bypass, use carb cleaner and hold the solenoid deal up so the cleaner
and gunk doesn't run into it an gunk it up. I would check the timing too.
