Strange Dana 41 Rear End

The only hitch I see is that we all likely want to go to a lower ratio, which means you need a different carrier. Whether those new carriers are 100% compatible is a big question. Someone on here did a swap from a Jeep Grand Cherokee (?) and said there were problems with the spider gears and bearings. It got expensive. I'd much rather put new R&P in my 44 than stick a 9" in it.

I've pretty much decided to stick with the 41/44 and get a 3:50 or lower depending on my trans/tire selection
