Rear end swap
Hello
I'm brand new to this today! I've got a 99 sd, diesel 7.3! I just lost my rear end! Tag on dif. cover reads s-406 c. Gears are 3.73. The question. "Can I swap for a 2001 rear end with 3.73 gears or do I have to stick with a 1999?" The salvage yard say's I can swap a 99 with a 2000 and I can swap a 2001 with a 2000 but nothing re: 99 for 2001. Thanks much for any help.
