M5OD-R2 Bellhousing

The guy replacing my engine called me yesterday morning and told me that the bellhousing was cracked where it mounts to the engine. He said it isn't broken through, but it's cracked.

I have a feeling that this is what has caused the vibration I was experiencing for the last 2 years.

I have a guy that can weld it...but can't guarantee that it's going to last.

I don't plan to doing anymore heavy towing with it until I get a replacement on it.

I'm looking for a low price bellhousing, preferably steel, but I'd be willing to put another aluminum one in it.

Anyone else ever run into this same issue??
