Here's what The Ogre told me:
172. System lean, right side. Not sure what "side" has to do with it, unless that 2-barrel throttle body design is split down the middle, feeding both sides of the engine separately. In that case it would make perfect sense that the huge vacuum leak on top of the PCV valve was the culprit. Fixed.
657. Tranny overheat. No surprise, just hopefully no damage. Limp mode was activated during the drive home from Montana with the 3-ton trailer on the back. Still drives ok, but then again I haven't cleared limp mode, even though the OD light isn't flashing it still shifts kinda hard. Fine by me, I wanted to put in a shift kit anyway.
628. Converter clutch lock-up error? That doesn't sound good. If it means the torque converter wasn't locking that may explain the overheating... But what failed? Can someone shed a little more light on that?
Just a note, I noticed that, on the drive home, the OD light would stop blinking when we turned the truck off for gas, then start blinking again once we were on the road and right when the tranny downshifted into third while going ~65mph.
Thanks!
