Hey yeah so... What rear end do I have?

1960 F-100

10 bolts... Five on top and bottom. I had my iPad out there till it got dark... I couldn't tell because it looked weird.

There is a plug in back on right side.

Any way... Fixing every drip and I noticed today the rear seal is dripping from the front side.

Total newbie question but I can fill oil through plug in back? I just spent way over budget replacing radiator and oil pan. What does it take to fix rear seal?

There is another thread in this, https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...-rear-end.html

It might help you. Also, if the rear axle is original, look at the plate in the inside of the glovebox door. Under AXLE if the code is 01 or 02 you have the Ford 9". If the code is 0A or 0B it is a Dana 44 limited slip.

That plug is the fill plug where you can add oil. Fill until the oil level is at the bottom of the hole.

On rear seal, do you mean the seal in the pinion (input) shaft?
