tuner upgrade needed for stage 1 injectors?
I emailed chrisw@tsperformance.com a week ago and never heard from him.
So I guess I will have to ask all of you guys.
I have a TSPerfromance 6 position chip. Stock,50,75,100,140+extreme and anti-theft. This is in my 2001 Superduty 7.3. I just got in the mail today my Stage 1 injectors from DP Tuner. Does this mean that I have to get my 6 position chip re-burned to use the stage 1 injectors before I install them... Plus if I run stage 1 injectors, does that mean when i put my tuner to "stock" mode it won't run well?

You
Do need to get it re programed for the single
Shots. That makes the biggest difference. Plus they can tune it for more fuel now that you'll have it. And tour stock setting will be re burnt to a modified stock tune. But if you pull the chip and your
PCM hasn't been burnt, then it will run a lil funny. But I think it will still run though. There are lots of good tuners that can re write the
Tunes on your ts chip. Brian(bts), Cale, php,Tony wildman, and many more. Honestly that's where I'd look before having ts write you tunes.

If you want to keep your chip hardware I highly recommend Cale at tyrant diesel as well.

I think i ordered a chip reburn from PHP (power hungry performance) this morning. I filled out the online form with all the right info and chip settings but haven't heard back from them yet. Gave them my CC#, I was really hoping to hear from them today so i can send my tuner in today instead of sometime next week. Looks like next week now.
On another note, I emailed TSPerformance again a few days ago and still haven't heard anything about their chip reburning, pricing, if they do it, etc etc. Thats two emails and no responses.
Starting to get a little frustrated here.

Please be patient with TS, Tony Wildman does their reburns and his daughter just had surgery, https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...r-request.html
