bump 4wd on/ bump 4wd off???

Hi guy got a weird situation for yous, For months I have had a vibration that starts with bumps, and stop after bumps. tonight when It started I turned on esof 4wd on , and it stopped, every time. I am pretty sure that I have a bad u-joint on the front drive shaft, That would explain the the vibration. But why does the front drive shaft start a stop spinning after bumps? The 4wd light only comes on when the esof **** is turned to 4x4...????

I took the front drive shaft off and took it for a drive, but the vibration was still there. I noticed a clicking in the carrier bearing so I'm gonna replace the carrier bearing.

would bad passenger side ball joints and a cupped tire cause a vibration after going over a bump? rotated the tires, but don't have time for test drive. I will update when I get a chance to test drive.

okay just to end this thread, I rotated the tires and did not help. I also replaced a hose clamp on the front drive shaft with a cable tie, replaced pass. side ball joints, pass side u-joint, and pass. side hub seal. After all that I took the truck for a six mile test drive and no vibration.(I did the same thing to the drivers side about two years ago). I am 90 percent sure one of those took car of the vibration. If not will update y'all
