Looking for a chip

so i have a 97 F250 with a 5.8 an i cant find a chip anywhere.. little help?

Search. They aren't worth the money. Just bump your timing up with a good tune up.

An off the shelf chip on these stock engines is not worth a darn thing. Bump the timing yourself.

I would contact Lays , they make the best chips that i know of.....

I also have a 97'f250 and when it was still new, I put a chip in it. I believe it was pushing $300. All it did, that I noticed, was hold in gear a little longer when I was pulling my big trailer and it was loaded up. Would so not spend the money again. Way to much, for such little result.

ok cause mines a 5 spd then what else besides a cold air and a throttle body and duals without going crazy with it

Search for the sixlitre tune up (this is way more effective than a chip, less expensive and will affect the same part of the engine). No cold air intake, they are a huge waste in these trucks, find a 300 or 460's snorkel and replace your stock one, those flow better. No duals, install longtube headers and have a shop make you 3" mandrel bent piping for the single exhaust. Do all these and you will see a lot more power and will spend a whole lot less.
