Absolutely!

I have wanted to do this ever since I bought my Ex, but my mod money has always gone for other stuff first.

The Excursions look so much better with cab lights, in my opinion.

I have wanted to see this done for some time now. Putco and PURE make good kits, they may be the same company not sure. They make smoke and black as well as clear and amber.

Lotta guys go with the OEM lights. Some opt for the Recon lights.

I'm gonna do this mod at the next Tech Day/Get-Together in August. Clay (Riffraff Diesel) and Pete are gonna help me out so I don't screw this mod up.

I'll probably go with the OEM lights and harness, Recon smoked lenses, with orange LED's inside.

the guy at my dealership has done a ton of these, so not too worried about the install itself.

I have a set of putco's myself, LOVE EM. It really toughens up the exterior, I had noticed a bit too much resemblance to the E-250 vans so I threw the lights up there, HUGE difference. Zero leaking and I live in Norfolk and there is a ton of rain here. The install is not hard, but does take a while because you want to measure 3-4 times and then drill. Set all the lights up there first and take a walk around the car and look at them from several diffenent angles to make sure they are how you want them and make sure to clearly mark where to drill. Also, one small legal note, depending on your local laws when you get it inspected they may require you to wire them so they turn on with your headlights, I know even if they didn't come with the car, it is what it is. Enjoy them.

you run a bug shield? my boy has a duramax dually and while running his bug shield the center cab light kept leaking. turns out the bug shield deflects the air right up to that huge center light and was tearing the caulking or sealant or whatever it is and letting water get through. the dealer repaired it 3 times before they figured it out and took his bug shield off. no problems since........
