How much por15 for frame

Im fairly certain the instructions say 2 coats.

I plan to use it on the frame, front suspension parts like the i-beams, etc, the trans x-member and the rearend. If I have enough left over I might cover the bottom of the cab/bed but doubtful at this point.

If you have the frame torn down that far, why not blast it and have it powdercoated?

I was originally thinking POR15 but only if I don't completely disassemble the truck.

I haven't read as much as you about POR15, but I've read where it doesn't adhere well to clean metal.

While I am not a big fan of POR 15 at all but if the parts are all clean then POR 15 in not indicated. They want it applied over tightly adhering rust. Similar to hitting metal with 36 grit before applying your filler. That way it has something to bite onto.
