carfax showed a accedent in the rear was struck by another vehicle and said slight damage reported

This is a red flag to me. I would not trust that it was reported to carfax. I would take off the rear wheels and check the rear axle for axle flange runout. I'm not saying yours is bent, but it has been hit, in the rear, and is having vibration problems.

well got the shocks on yesterday. also put in the leveling spacers for the front springs and installed a rancho dual steering stabilizer. i set the shocks at 3 on the front and 1 on the rear. went for a ride and feel nice. didnt notice the bouncing but just a little bit. if you wasnt looking for it i wouldnt have known it was doing it. real smoth ride. almost a cadi. lol i like the shocks though. im going across town to a buddys house today and will pay more attention. also the dual steering stabilizers really helped the very little vibration i had in the steering wheel. feels real nice and solid. i like the look the spacers added. now i have to get bigger tires. still waiting on them to ship me my wheels. orederd them 1.5 months ago. think im going to change the order so i can get some sometime this year.
i love the shocks so far.
also the hope i talk about i think mostly happens on the long wheel base models. not 100% sure on that but from what i have read.
as far as a bent axle... dont think so. im not the orig owner and have only had it sence feb this year. carfax showed a accedent in the rear was struck by another vehicle and said slight damage reported. so i figure somebody didnt stop in time at a red light.
thanks for all the input guys.

I bought new 9000Xls back about a month ago, I have I already
received (and mostly spent) my $100 rebate debit card already.
I just wanted to say "great job" to Rancho for such a quick rebate!

I'm lovin' my new shocks (f/r both set to 5) - but I have an Ex.
