Rancho RS9000xl shock deal!

Now is the time to buy the Rancho RS9000xl's if you have been wanting them. The spring rebate is going on now. $100 rebate. After rebate I only paid $56.38 a shock delivered to my door with no tax. I started a thread in the 6.0 diesel forum with the information on how. See here

My truck just hit 64000 miles and maybe I should think about upgrading the stock shocks!

I'm wondering if I go with the adjustable RS9000 shock, how often I would adjust the shocks? I do very limited off-road and when I do it is mostly dirt roads for hunting. There might be some beach riding too but other than that, most of my driving is on roads.

Also I was looking. Their is a you tube video about putting bearing grease in the adjuster to prevent rust from building inside

I don't adjust mine ever.

chioces are full resistive setting which is equiv to stock, or select a lower setting which is softer than stock.

I find that the stiffest setting is barley enough...so theres no need to soften the stiffness. If I wanted softer stiffness...I would keep my older ones in place.

Like many, Im probally going to put in duals all around. Perhhaps then, I will probally lower the setting to maybe come in a 150 percent of what one shock would provide.

Ron D: Not all items are eligible for that special promotional discount due to Manufacturers' restrictions. Even so, I would be happy to see if any discount opportunities exist right now.

Ron D: May I pull up your cart and check for discount opportunities?

Visitor: go ahead. but folks on the ford truck forum are reporting the 100 discount on these items

Ron D: The code you entered provides you with a top discount of 16%; I'll check the calculations and make sure you are getting the correct discount.

Ron D: The total before discount is $419.80; after discount the price drops to $352.64.

Visitor: I will have to go back to the forum and report this. I don't know why others are getting 100 and I am getting 67. your adjusted price is only 6 dollars diff than amazon. amazon charges 358 for the same items. so if there is a 100 discount, the new total should be 258 and that is what the other forum members are reporting.

Ron D: That is the maximum discount allowed; the regular top is 15%, your club code gets you 16%.

Visitor: just for the record...the total is still showing 353

Ron D: I don't know how they are getting that larger discount, either.

Visitor: would you like the link

Yes you should get the shocks for 80 some a piece depending on what ones you choose. Then you need to tell them to send you the link for the rancho rebate or you can pull it off their sight. I also have it in an email, so you get the shocks for around 350 the. Send in the rebar form and you get the 100 off that

Also make sure you are matching up the part numbers of what you want. From ranchos site

I adjust when I tow and when I am empty. Tow is a higher setting (7-8) around town the front is a 5-6 the rear is a 3-4.

2003 F-250 with a 4" lift and 35's.

The link once again:

The extra $100.00 dollars is in the form of a Visa card rebate which has to be sent in with your receipt. And I had Autoanything price match Advance Auto. Advance auto is $116.99 each with a discount code trt41 which takes off $40 dollars plus tax. Autoanything beats all competitors by $1.00. So I ended up paying 81.38 per shock and then I will get the $100 rebate back. So $225.52 total after rebate.
