Compression Test Prep Question

What is the proper way to disconnect the ignition coil and fuel injectors for a compression test? I have a 1990 F150 302 EFI.

Just pull the fuel pump fuse, and unhook the coil wire on the distributor.

Or if you want you can just pull every injector's connector....if you're worrying about wasting the little bit of gas in the fuel rail.

Ok, thanks. Not worried about wasting gas, just don't want to muck anything up! Was reading somewhere that you can damage the coil if it builds up too much charge with no where to go?
