even though i owned my superduty sincenewin 2004, this is thefirst official kill sincei got my X3 from mike at five star! driving down interestate I295 to go pick up my daughter, i glance in the review and see this truck weaving back and forth around cars coming up fast. So now let me set the mood im in cruise control at 70mph in the right lane then this white crew cab short dodge rolls up. Truck is brand new it still had the temp tag on it, anyways the dude looks over i look back it jumps on it. then he gets into the right lane in frontof me and hemust have letoff the go pedal so i get in the left lane to pass and as i get next to him he looks beeps hishorn and points forward. At first the feeling of will the old 5.4 powered F350 put a hurting on this brand new Dodge? But then the bad side comes out and says, "are you serious go whoop this rat dodge!" So i beep there times and give the thumbs up, he gives the thumb up then i beep, beep beep beep and let all that mighty 5.4 go! (LOL thats funny) So from 65mph to my 125mph speed limit on my X3 i had an entire truck length on that turd dodge. He hung right at my back bumper the whole time till i let off and of course he keep going thinking he was winning! I had the smile of the Joker from Batman the dark knight movie, kinda wish i had the V10 so i could have really showed him how a FORD runs!

 

I may be a rookie on the site. But this screams out irresponsible...Doing 125 on an interstate with a 1 ton?

That's certainly nothing to brag about. Stupid stunts like that get people killed every day.

 

A brand new dodge wouldn't go that fast unless he just happened to already have a programer to turn off the speed limiter.

Maybe you stopped by a poker game later that day and won 3 trucks too?

 

125 mph puts you on slow lane on autobahn. AND YOU BETTER STAY ON IT.

thanks senix, im a bit surprized about the other answers though. i read these types of post daily on powerstroke.org about killings? I finally get to have one and i get nothing but bad mouthed. Stock dodge wont go that fast, people getting killed. For one there was no cars in front of us for a good two miles as far as i could see. And the next car behind us was a good 1/4 mile back. But needlessto say ill just stick to other topics for now on.

 

and funky fullwidth i dont know if i was doing 125mph when i slowed down. my speedo shuts down right after 100mph so i could have been doing 105, 110, i dont know. All i do know is we both stomped on the go pedals and i walked him from 65mph. So im happy my little 5.4 1Ton had the guts!

 

i did the same thing with my pop-in-law, he has an 03 2wd 7.3. He is always talking crap about my gasser but he would never race. Once day he him and his wife went on a cruise to the Bahamas. So i had my chance i got my wife (his daughter)to drive his truck we lined 'em up on a back road and to my surprise i killed the 7.3 off the line but around 45 it slowly caught and passed..my mods listed below...the 7.3 was stock
