09 Lariat 4x4 gear ratio?
What was the standard gear ratio, and optional ratios available for the 09 F150 Lariat 4x4s?
I've tried searching but can't find what I want.
Reason I'm asking, is I found a 09 I want, but I was told it has 3.31 gears. Didn't think you could get those in a Lariat 4x4....
I want 3.73 and know that was a option, but 3.31?????

According to the spec sheet:
https://www.ford-trucks.com/specs/20...d-f-150-1.html
3.15:1 / 3.31:1 / 3.55:1 / 3.73:1
It appears that the 4.6L 3v motor and the 5.4L could be had with any of the 4 choices.
The 4.6L 2v looks to be just the 3.55 and 3.73
A Lariat SCrew 4wd would be 3.31, 3.55 or 3.73.
Also appears that the 3.15 are only available in 2wd

I've got 3.55's in my 2010 Lariat. Had 3.73's in my '05. I was pretty stuck on 3.73's again until I read somewhere or was told that the 3.55's with the new 6-speed tranny actually have a lower 1st gear than the 3.73's with the 4-speed. Just made a run from S.E. GA to Dallas to pick up a '56 F-100 that my dad bought. Hauled it on a 20' tandem axle trailer of mine. The 3.55's and the 5.4l did great. No power shortage that I could tell.
