want to bypass my trans control on e40d trans. tried to pull relay in the power control box and it shuts the truck off. should i disconnect on the mlps or something else? thx
The engine computer and trans computer are in the same box so you can`t use that to isolate it.
There should be a big plug connector on the pass side of the trans, if you pull that there should be no electrical power to the trans. You will then only have 2nd gear and OD plus reverse.
