ZF6 clutch

So i am planning on swapping out my auto for a ZF6. I have found a manual set up for a good price but it comes with a stock NEW ford clutch. What are your thoughts on a stock clutch?? I am not planning on building insane horepower or a sled puller. I drive my truck daily and tow often. So I am building my truck to do just that. I have the mods in my sig. MAYBE one day I will upgrade to stage1's and a 38r MAYBE, but that is it. So would a stock NEW clutch be acceptable for my application?? If not what clutch would you guys recommend??

I run this clutch, shortly after installing my DP Tuner my clutch started slipping. So I went ahead and installed the South Bend 1944-6OK and I'm very pleased with it.

That is good info.
The bummer is the whole zf6 swap setup is $2000 so if I add the clutch I am looking at another $700. Ouch, have I lost my mind??

Well look at it this way you still got the auto and you can get the ZF6 put it off to the side and save up for the clutch, and still drive the truck.

Good point. And hopefully I can sell the auto to help with the cost. And it is still cheaper than a rebuilt auto.

Well every clutch I have ether had installed or put in my self I have had the master/slave cylinder replaced, saves from going back and replacing it at a later date.

Nice score! In this case I think it's ok to use a used mc/sc setup. Only because it is soo easy to swap out later if you have a problem.

Early indications show a nice improvement over stock with my Mazda RX-7 oil cooler too. I won't know for sure until I do a summer tow up some familiar grades.

Here's my whole story I'm sure you've read it.

In my opinion save the $170 on the master/slave and put it towards a better solution in the pilot bearing/bushing area or a cooler. I think a 6-oh cooler would be nice on a ZF6...
