Dual battery cable ends.

I'm moving my drivers side battery over to the pass side, What size battery cable end will I need? I want one that I can put the battery cable through to meet the other terminal - like the passenger side positive end. Where do ya'll get the battery cable ends like that??? I am planning on making a custom tray and then just connecting the batteries inline. Any thought, any pics of it done?

I had a battery cable built at NAPA. They can get you the gauge you want and just about any ends you'll need...

Its 1/0 from the left bat to the right then it changes to 2/0 down to the starter. I got a whole new cable from NPD a few years ago. It was a nice plug and play deal. Once i got the old cable out i could really see how bad it was. As far as both on one side id think the 2 big batteries you have would be alot of weight bouncing on a plastic inner fender. Id stick with it the way it is.

Is that the factory size? When they built mine i got 2/0 between the batteries and 3/0 to the starter. Really made a difference. If you used that size and put both batteries on the pass side the starter might flip the truck over...

And to add my two bits into the thread, I would think you can run that dual connector piece on the battery closest to the solenoid, then run the other end to the connector for the other battery, I would assume you can just cut the cable so you dont gotta worry bout buying new pieces, maybe a cable cutter and thats bout it.

I got mine at the bumper to bumper when i made a cable for a tractor but its an o'reillys now. IIRC borg warner was stamped on them and it just needed to be crimped on. I would suggest replacing the cable when you do all this though, if theres any swelling anywhere or dry insulation there is demage to the cable if your spending money on new ends you might want new cable also

My factory wires look great, insulation isn't dried up or cracked.
