Battery Cable Part#'s

Looks like the stock right side negative battery cable WC-95599-A has been discontinued.

It appears that an unofficial substitute is WC-9329-A. Can anyone validate or do I call a dealer?

The part # you are asking about is for the RH of a super duty. Dealer wouldn't be able to confirm yes or no. I would think it would work. If I knew where you were I might be able to find somewhere close that had it so you could look at it before purchasing.

I'll see what the dealer(s) because there are several around me have in stock before I buy, thanks for the clarity.

Dealer reply:
Thank you for contacting North Central Ford. Unfortunately, the battery cable you are looking for has been discontinued by Ford and is no longer available. The last Motorcraft number you found is the same one that I show. Some of the aftermarket dealers may be able to cross that number to get their equivalent.
I'll run with jpr38057's advice and see how the 250 cable looks first. Tried the aftermarkets... wasn't happy with what I saw. I'll make my own first.

Final...

I got the factory cables except for the pass side ground which went end of life, so I bought the F-250 cable for that year. It fit just fine.

Perhaps, I won't be fighting corrosion every 3 months on the new cables. Here are the old ones.

My original intention was something to this effect, but I just ran out of daylight. Those look pretty good.

One thing a lot of guys do, their local welding supply company can make up a set of 1/0 or 2/0 battery cables a lot cheaper than dealer supplied cables.

Making your own with welding cable and marine or military style clamps, etc would probably be around $35 to $50 bucks for both...
