wrecker truck

I'm loving this and very rare to see one over here in England. I particularly like the old wood lashed onto the front!! If only I had more time and money!!

Exchange rate today was $1.62/ pound. That is a pile of dough for that truck, compared to what it's value would be here. Interesting.

Ross, the Brits saw the writing on the wall and didn't buy into the whole Euro thing when conversion time came. One of the few hold-outs. Good for them.

These trucks are much more expensive over here compared to what you guys can get them for - especially as there are very few around over here and they are very popular!!

Luckily we did stay out of the whole euro farce, but sadly we still seem to held liable by europe generally to bail out some of the other countries we really screwed up with it all...

Plus, everything is more expensive here, they don't call it rip off britain for nothing you know!!

I wonder what it costs to export one of these trucks to the UK? A truck like that wrecker could be picked up around here for a couple grand (USD) and if one could truly sell anywhere close to that asking price, there's got to be some decent profit margain there.
