Just hooked up the iSimple / Sirius system to my 2007 F250 with the 6 cd radio that has the Aux button. Followed directions exactly and no dice. I press the Aux button and the message reads 'NO AUX'.
I know I should contact the manufacturer and I will in the morning but thought I would see if anybody on the forum had a similar experience. Any help or advice is welcome.

Well...just found out the hard way that just because your radio has an AUX button it does not mean it is satellite compatible or that it will use the Gateway system.

The Ford 6C3T-18C815-AC radio will not work with the iSimple Gateway system.

 

I think you have to flip one of the dip switches on the control box. I don't remember but I think it's #2.

 

The 2007 Vehicles unfortunately do not come with a radio that is factory satellite radio compatible. I believe that is why they don't have our trucks listed as compatible on their website.

I guess so, but there was some confusing contradiction since it was also stated that if you had the AUX button you were ok. Well enough said. Thanks for the responses.

 

could you get a 2008 head unit and swap it out?

That should work. The trim lines might be slightly different though, but not by much.

 

That might actually work. I do have a nice 6CD MP3 out of an 08 F150 Lariat that would work, this truck did have Sirius. I took it out to replace it with an OEM Nav system.

 

I went ahead and got the Sirius Starmate 5 and its installed and working. Thanks for your suggestions, I guess I was a little too anxious to get my truck back together and hear the tunes.
