So here is what i am thinking for the truck fenders. I know it looks bad but bear with me, i only have microsoft paint at work. lol

The international logo may be painted, might just be laser cut. We shall see. This will be a first run so who knows what will work best!

Does the 6.9 have a equivalent International number? The 7.3 is the T444, is there such thing as a T420? I've never heard of it but... I like the design though!

I would say either the international logo needs to lose it's color or the rest of your emblem needs some color... but you already addressed that in your original post!

Yeah I'm going to have my bro annodize the metal so it looks dark grey like flat titanium. The letters will be some black gloss or the sort and the navistar will be all like the letters.

I've thought about making some custom badges for my truck (we have a CNC that can do it) but just don't have the time. Besides, my truck has other 'more pressing' matters to deal with lol.

When you say "first run", are you planning to make several for resale?

 

my bro and dad are willing to jump on anything that will be good for them and us. The stack proved to be a chore but bumpers and emblems and such are fast and easy. I am designing a three piece bumper to make shipping a breeze and easy to replace side pieces. It would be one center structure and two sides with 1/2" brackets and grade eight hardware, already checked on DOT standards and they would exceed.

 

Now that's an awesome badge for our trucks!

 

I was just going to say that you might run into trouble with copyrights if you are using the IH emblem like that and started selling them in significant numbers. We made a harley davidson badge for a local gent a while ago but it was more of a complementary [one time, no money changing hands] thing. Heard they can be very aggressive when it comes to copyright infringement. Dad mainly did it for fun to see if he could. In theory, our machine has high enough resolution to do small jewelry engraving.
