Rear window switch?

The switch on the dash will roll the window up and down. With the key in the tailgate it will roll the window up but not down. Does it sound like I need a new switch? And if so does anyone know where to get one?
Thanks!

There are actually TWO switches in the tailgate. One engages when you turn the key one way, the other engages the other direction. You may have a switch gone bad or just loose connections or the switch itself may have dislodged from its mount. Best bet is to open the gate, manually close the driver's side latch (both cams), then run the window up. Take care to support the glass as it reaches the full up position. From this point you can remove the inspection cover on the inside of the gate and get at the switches which are mounted behind the key tumbler assembly. There is a paddle on the tumbler assembly that rotates to activate the individual switches.

I'm having a similar issue. The switch in the dash of my 90' is broken and my window is stuck down. I can't find this switch anywhere! I've check local parts stores and all the junkyards in my area, any suggestions?

The switch is the same as the rest of the window switches except for the shape of the actuator. You just have to provide the negative (ground) connection to two of the terminals.
