Tough Bed or Line-X

Tough Bed or Line-X
Getting ready for a new truck. I am thinking about getting the 'Tough Bed' option, but I have been told that it is very thin, tends to peel off, and can't be repaired. Wondering if I shouldn't just get it sprayed with Line-X. I have had good luck with Line-X in the past and there is a good Line-X dealer near me. Anyone have any experience with 'Tough Bed'?

How long has Line-X been around? I didnt know they had even been in the business that long. Thats a pretty good accolade though, 10 yrs in constuction and looks like new...

I've looked at several trucks with Tough Bed on the lots and it does appear to be much thinner than Line-X. I think for the money, you're probably better off with Line-X or Rhino. As an aside, the Tough Bed is covered under the truck warranty and when it expires, so does the Tough Bed. Line-X and Rhino warranty theirs for as long as you own the truck.

So Line-X has been around a long time.

I went with the factory Tough Bed. If if chips or peels, I'll Line-X it in 3 years when the warranty runs out.
Here is an old article about a comparison between the two.
